How will my membership
fee or donation help?
Your membership fee or donation is
greatly needed to help meet the costs of campaigning for reform, providing
educational material and to fund several important research projects on the
benefits and obstacles to drug law reform. These projects include:
- analysing the costs and benefits of
Australia's current drug policies
- examining if and how Australia's
international treaties interfere with harm-minimisation policies
- surveying the degree of support for
harm-minimisation drug policies
This important research is yet to be
conducted in Australia. It is vital if we are to argue that drug law reforms
are feasible and are supported by the Australian people. But without your
support, these research projects may not be possible.
